The book tells the story of a boy and his mother moving into the shelter. Boots the cat gives him a tour and makes him feel comfortable.  

MCSA volunteer, Becky Whitmore, conceptualized the book and wrote the story. She worked with local artist, and former MCSA resident, Chris Anderson to bring the story to life with the illustrations.
 
Book comes with polka dot fleece cozy as depicted in the book.
